The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodge stuffs the takedown.
Murphy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hodge shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Murphy as he jumps to the side.

Hodge closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hodge lands in his opponent's guard.
Hodge throwing strikes from guard but Murphy blocks nicely.
Hodge definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hodge is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hodge stands up over Murphy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Hodge has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hodge is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Hodge takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Hodge seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Murphy is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
