The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawaguchi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A combination from Kawaguchi does no damage.
Crush shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kawaguchi as he jumps to the side.
Nice takedown defense from Kawaguchi. No joy for Crush on that attempt.
Crush misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orange Crush. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kawaguchi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Crush slips a jab from Kawaguchi.
Crush throws a head kick but Kawaguchi moves out of range.
Kawaguchi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Crush shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kawaguchi but Kawaguchi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crush takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Orange Crush has been cut.

Kawaguchi cracks Crush with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Crush looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kawaguchi finish him?

Kawaguchi lands with a nice body punch.
Oh Crush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crush is breathing heavily.

Kawaguchi drops Crush with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Crush! Kawaguchi dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
