Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Ringo!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chestner throws a poor cross that misses
and Chestner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ringo's coach down at Iron Fist Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ringo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Chestner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ringo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ringo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chestner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ringo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Ringo tries for a takedown but Chestner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ringo stalks Chestner and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chestner's face. Chestner staggers backwards, shaken.
Ringo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chestner.
Chestner slips a jab and a cross from Ringo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chestner takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Ringo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chestner's guard.
Chestner lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Ringo looking for a guillotine here but Chestner defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chestner postures up and lands a big shot to Ringo's brow.
Chestner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ringo's head.
Chestner content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Ringo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chestner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Chestner lands a couple of elbows.
Ringo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chestner controls the pace.
Chestner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ringo is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Chestner presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Ringo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ringo breaks the clinch.

Ringo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Chestner shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chestner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chestner there as he acknowledges the shot.
Chestner avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chestner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ringo was well out of range. Poor timing from Chestner.
Ringo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chestner throws a jab when Ringo was well out of range.
Ringo goes for a double leg but Chestner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Chestner continues to drive forward.
It looked like Chestner wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Cock Chestner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Ringo.
Chestner is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ringo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chestner was well out of range. Poor timing from Ringo.

Ringo just misses with a punch to the body.
Chestner stuffs the takedown.
Chestner went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Chestner drops Ringo with a beautiful combination! Ringo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Chestner is looking for the KO!


Ringo is rocked!


It looks like Johnny Ringo has been cut.
Ringo lands a body shot.
Ringo is still on wobbly legs! Can Chestner finish him?
Chestner darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Ringo's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Chestner before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cock Chestner!
