Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Jims!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Melvin Tucker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jims wants to clinch up but Tucker keeps it at a distance.
Tucker misses with a wild combination.

Tucker moves into the clinch.

Tucker lands a takedown into guard.

Jims has a closed guard, preventing Tucker from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jims holds on and takes a little breather.
Jims seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Melvin Tucker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tucker gets a clinch.
Jims tries to pull guard but Tucker holds him up against the cage and eventually Jims drops back down to his feet.
Jims tries to break free but Tucker pushes him back against the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tucker misses with an elbow strike.
Tucker's coach down at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tucker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jims changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tucker fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tucker moves into the clinch.

Tucker lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Jims is trying to maintain the position but Tucker is very close to passing his half guard.
Tucker wants to pass the guard but Jims is defending well.
Tucker with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Tucker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tucker is trying to control. Jims wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jims is trying to maintain the position but Tucker is very close to passing his half guard.

Tucker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jims sees it coming and defends easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jims actively working from the bottom here.
Jims is breathing heavily.
Jims is looking to control Tucker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jims avoid being mounted?

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jims tries to clinch up but Tucker circles away and keeps his distance.
Tucker closes the distance and clinches up with Jims, looking for a takedown. Tucker pushes Jims against the cage but Jims circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As Tucker backs away, Jims returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Tucker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Tucker moves into range and clinches up with Jims.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Tucker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jims can't fight it off and eventually Tucker manages to take the fight to the floor. Jims looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jims looking for a guillotine here but Tucker defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Melvin Tucker dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Tucker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tucker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jims is fending him off so far but Tucker persists. Nope, Jims circles away and we're back to standing.
Jims swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jims misses with a hook.
Jims throws a hook to the side of Tucker's head but Tucker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tucker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tucker lands in his opponent's guard.

Jims looking for a triangle here. Tucker is fighting it but it looks tight! Jims pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Tucker is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Jim Jims!
