Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randall has chosen Jasmine as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Joshua Randall!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lock gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Randall looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lock is leaning against Randall and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Lock works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Lock decides to pull guard.
Randall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lock is looking for a triangle but Randall pushes his legs off easily.

Randall told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Lock has had enough of the clinch but Randall keeps him there for the moment.

Lock has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Randall uses from the top position.

Lock is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Randall is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lock cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Lock tries to score a power double leg takedown but Randall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lock somewhat.

Lock clinches up with Randall and pushes him back against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters up against the cage, Randall throws an elbow but misses.

Randall wants to get up but he can't break Lock's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Randall throws a right and a left that Lock avoids nicely.
Lock throws a low kick but it's checked well by Randall.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Randall is trying to reverse the position but instead Lock has taken his back - oops!

What can Randall do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Lock.
Lock has good solid back control here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Lock has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Lock is riding his opponent, not letting Randall buck him off.
Randall is taking damage to the body and head.
Randall is trying to break free.

Lock keeps control of the position easily here as Randall tries to buck him off.

Randall is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lock missing with strikes.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Lock is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Randall defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Joshua Randall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ryan Lock is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
