The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrell throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Terrell defends well and Jones ends up having to push Terrell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Terrell shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Terrell counters with a single leg into guard. Jones didn't expect that.
Jones is pulling down on Terrell's head to control his posture.
Terrell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Terrell won't allow Jones to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Terrell loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Terrell postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jones looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Terrell passes into half guard.
Jones throws some strikes from the bottom but Terrell isn't bothered - he's working on a kimura... it looks tight... it is! Jones is tapping and screaming like a little girl! Ouch, that looks painful! Good win for Terrell!
