And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort throws a series of punches but Bradbrook avoids them all with ease.
Belfort lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A telegraphed right hand from Belfort misses the target.
Belfort lands with a shot to the body.

Belfort tries to keep at a distance but Bradbrook has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bradbrook breaks the clinch.
Belfort misses the shot to the body.
Bradbrook bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Belfort's head.
Bradbrook takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bradbrook takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nice defenses there by Bradbrook.
It looked like Bradbrook was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Belfort.
Belfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bradbrook moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bradbrook holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bradbrook breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Belfort throws a series of punches but Bradbrook avoids them all with ease.
Bradbrook was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Belfort misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've been told by Bradbrook's head coaches at School of Hard Knocks that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Bradbrook lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Belfort misses with a right hand
enabling Bradbrook to counter with a crisp jab.

Bradbrook throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Belfort throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bradbrook is looking for a counter combo.
Belfort throws a looping overhand right but Bradbrook ducks down to avoid it.
Bradbrook is looking to counter punch.
A jab lands there for Belfort.
Bradbrook connects with a crisp jab.
Belfort misses with a right hand
and Belfort takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bradbrook forces Belfort back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bradbrook breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Belfort throws a lazy uppercut
and Bradbrook counters with a two punch combo.
Bradbrook throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bradbrook scores with a shot to the body.

Belfort misses with a combination

and Bradbrook counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Bradbrook breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bradbrook fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Belfort.
Bradbrook lands with a kick to the temple. Belfort shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bradbrook scoring well with a low kick there.
Belfort throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bradbrook buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Belfort swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bradbrook counters with a left and a right that stings Belfort.


Belfort is rocked!
Belfort is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Bradbrook moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimbo Bradbrook!
