PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartlomiej Niewiadomski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Niewiadomski has chosen Eminem - Survival as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Mike Norris has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mike Norris seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niewiadomski keeps the fight on the outside.
Niewiadomski throws a right hand that Norris ducks under and follows up with a left that Norris also avoids with ease.
Norris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Niewiadomski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Norris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Norris wants to take the fight to the mat but Niewiadomski manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Norris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Niewiadomski has his foot on Norris's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Norris works his way back into a safe position though.

Norris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Niewiadomski on the ground.
Norris throws an elbow that misses. Niewiadomski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Norris's guard. Nice move by Niewiadomski!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Norris is rocked!

Niewiadomski drops back looking for a leg! Norris is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Norris manages to kick Niewiadomski off! Niewiadomski jumps back into Norris's guard.
Oh Norris is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Niewiadomski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Niewiadomski gets to his feet and stands over Norris, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Norris felt that one! Niewiadomski unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Norris from any more punishment!

A very excited looking Bartlomiej Niewiadomski rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
