Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Taylor drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hines manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Taylor has Hines in his guard.
Taylor isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hines stacks Taylor on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hines!
Hines stands up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Taylor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hines doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Taylor.

Hines tries to get to full guard but Taylor has control of the leg.
Taylor wants to work for an arm triangle but Hines is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Taylor is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hines has managed to free his arm - good work.
Hines moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor has gone for a leg lock! Hines slips out almost immediately though and dives into Taylor's guard.
Hines could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hines stands up and waves to Taylor to follow him.

Taylor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Taylor tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hines's legs.
Taylor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hines knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Taylor thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Taylor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Taylor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Taylor goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hines has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Taylor but great work by Hines.

Hines wants to lay and pray for a moment but Taylor keeps working.
Taylor is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hines off and has taken his back!
Taylor looking to break Hines's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hines remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Taylor will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Taylor working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Hines is doing well to defend. Taylor seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Hines is forced to tap and this one is over!
