The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker Jr misses with a takedown attempt
and Asinen counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Asinen has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Baker Jr is trying to keep an underhook but Asinen manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Asinen feints and as Baker Jr raises his hands in defense, Asinen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Asinen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Asinen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Baker Jr wants to sweep but no luck.
Asinen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Baker Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Asinen has managed to get both his arms back between Baker Jr's legs - danger averted.

Baker Jr has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Asinen doesn't defend quickly enough and Baker Jr has managed to lock this one up! Can Asinen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Baker Jr on a fantastic submission victory.
