The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guilmette scores with a head kick. De Noteboom tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Guilmette takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Armand Guilmette has been cut.

Guilmette gets tackled into the cage by De Noteboom. De Noteboom maintains the clinch.
Guilmette is looking to break free of the clinch but De Noteboom has double underhooks.

De Noteboom has the hooks in. Guilmette is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
