Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sanu Tuctic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teofil Poplawski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sanu Tuctic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Teofil Poplawski!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poplawski shoots in for a takedown but Tuctic shows good takedown defense.

Tuctic shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Poplawski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Poplawski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Poplawski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tuctic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tuctic is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Tuctic's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Our spies down at at Gizmo's Gym inform us that Poplawski has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Poplawski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tuctic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Poplawski has managed to get both his arms back between Tuctic's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tuctic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Poplawski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Poplawski has hold of Tuctic's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tuctic manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Tuctic on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tuctic tries to get out of the position.

Poplawski throws an elbow that misses. Tuctic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Poplawski's guard. Nice move by Tuctic!

That was a close round but I would say that Sanu Tuctic will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Tuctic is stinking the place up with his stalling.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tuctic holds on and takes a little breather.

Poplawski is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tuctic is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tuctic has escaped and now he's on top!

Well Tuctic has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
