Randall has chosen Promentory as his entrance music. Dave Randall is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall throws a head kick that misses.
Randall looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Vermalaen pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Vermalaen drops Randall with a beautiful combination! Randall stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vermalaen is looking for the KO!

Randall is rocked!

It looks like Dave Randall has been cut.
Vermalaen lets loose with a powerful body kick. Randall will feel that in the morning.
Randall is still on wobbly legs! Can Vermalaen finish him?

Vermalaen clinches.

Vermalaen breaks from the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Randall gets tackled into the cage by Vermalaen. Vermalaen maintains the clinch.

Vermalaen pulls guard successfully.
Vermalaen trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Vermalaen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Vermalaen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Randall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Vermalaen pulls Randall in to control the position.

Vermalaen is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Randall presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Randall changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Vermalaen fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Randall stuffs the takedown.

Vermalaen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Randall, pushing him back against the cage.

Vermalaen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Vermalaen.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vermalaen is defended easily by Randall.
Randall walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Vermalaen swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
