The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mulvaney paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Mulvaney throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rizky stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Rizky counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mulvaney won't be happy with that.

The referee asks Rizky politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rizky prefers to stall for the moment though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rizky is trying to get an arm triangle but Mulvaney is defending well.

Mulvaney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rizky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mulvaney cracks Rizky with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mulvaney's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rizky connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mulvaney scrambles back to his feet.

Mulvaney feints a jab promting Rizky to slip. Mulvaney then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rizky slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Oh Rizky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mulvaney connects with a combination that backs up Rizky into the cage. Mulvaney lands a flurry of punches that gets past Rizky's guard. Rizky is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Mulvaney bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
