Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Silva (ranked 7551 p4p, 770 weight class) and Borris Truck (ranked 21267 p4p, 933 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Olha o Gas. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Borris Truck!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Truck takes the fight into the clinch.
Silva misses with a body punch.
Silva lands a nice elbow.
Silva tries to pull guard but Truck won't allow it.
Truck gets underhooks to prevent Silva's takedown attempt.
Silva is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Truck has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Truck turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Truck manages to end up in side control.
