The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thiago throws a wild body kick that Connor sees coming a mile off.
Connor on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Connor shoots in for a takedown but Thiago shows good takedown defense.
Thiago bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Connor tries to clinch
and Thiago counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Connor thinking.
Thiago fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Connor.
A nice leg kick lands there from Thiago.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Thiago.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Thiago.
Thiago connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Thiago looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Thiago connects with a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thiago connects with an inside leg kick.
Thiago's jab looks to have found its range, popping Connor under the eye.
Thiago lands a big right hand that sends Connor crashing to the mat! Thiago stays standing though and waves Connor back to his feet!
Connor is rocked!

Thiago dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Connor. That did some damage!

Connor looks winded!
Thiago sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Connor's defenses. It connects perfectly with Connor's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
