Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Hunter Thompson (ranked 10594 p4p, 934 weight class) and Steel Penn Jr (ranked 22180 p4p, 926 weight class). Thompson comes into the arena with Love the way you hate me blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn Jr misses with a head kick.
Thompson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Penn Jr unleashes a big counter combination but Thompson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Penn Jr throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Thompson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Thompson looks to land a right hand but Penn Jr moved out of range.
Penn Jr lands with a nice body kick.
A head kick misses from Thompson.
Sloppy strikes from Thompson. Those never looked like landing.
Penn Jr throws a fast counter high kick but Thompson manages to duck under it in time.

Penn Jr feints and then cracks Thompson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thompson down.
Penn Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thompson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've been informed that Penn Jr has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Penn Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Penn Jr goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Penn Jr catches Thompson napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Thompson crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Penn Jr raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

In his post fight interview, Steel Penn Jr started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
