Hoyce loads up on a big right hand but Gumption slips the punch.
Gumption misses with a straight right.
Hoyce misses with an uppercut. Gumption saw that one coming.
Gumption has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hart Family Dungeon in the buildup to the fight.
Hennan Hoyce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoyce takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hoyce throws a lazy head kick
enabling Gumption to counter with a crisp jab.
Hoyce just misses with a punch to the body.
Hoyce misses with a right hand
and Gumption counters with a crisp one two that drops Hoyce! Gumption thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hoyce to his feet! Hoyce is in big trouble!
Hoyce is rocked!
Hoyce looks to throw the jab but Gumption is out of range.
Hoyce is still on wobbly legs! Can Gumption finish him?
Hoyce throws a jab but it's blocked by Gumption.
Hoyce seems to have recovered his senses.
Gumption steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hoyce.
Hoyce throws a series of punches but Gumption moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hoyce gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Gumption gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hoyce is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
