Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Herring. No joy for Eroff on that attempt.
Eroff swinging wildly here.
Herring uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eroff.
Eroff shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Herring sprawls well. Herring wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Eroff gets slowly back to his feet.
Eroff pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Herring counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Fausto Herring has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Eroff.
Herring decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Herring winds up and cracks Eroff with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Herring will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Herring lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Herring is nestled in close to Eroff, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Eroff is looking for a sweep. Herring is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Herring seems to be working for a kimura but Eroff defends the submission attempt.

Herring is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Eroff is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
