Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaheim Reid (ranked 2206 p4p, 286 weight class) and Big Pokey (ranked 2996 p4p, 386 weight class). Reid comes to the cage accompanied by Sizzla - Taking Over. Pokey is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Keep My Name Out Yo Mouth. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reid was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Reid fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pokey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Pokey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Reid bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pokey has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Pokey changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reid looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pokey throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reid stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Reid throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pokey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reid circles away.

Pokey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Reid connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pokey scrambles back to his feet.

Pokey is rocked!
Reid ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Pokey's jaw. Pokey's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Reid does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

A relieved looking Jaheim Reid thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
