Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Number (ranked 3486 p4p, 486 weight class) and William Richardson (ranked 2968 p4p, 427 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, William Richardson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Number gets a clinch.
Richardson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Number to keep the fight standing.
Number misses with a short punch on the inside.
Richardson tries to pull guard but Number holds him up against the cage and eventually Richardson drops back down to his feet.
Richardson tries to pull guard but Number won't allow it.
Jack Number has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Richardson.
Number pushes Richardson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Richardson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Number just stands there and leans against the cage.
Number goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Number struggles to land a body shot inside as Richardson controls his hands.
Number fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Richardson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Richardson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Number wants to stand but Richardson is controlling his posture from full guard.
Richardson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Number knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Richardson on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Number has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Richardson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Number is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Richardson pulls down on the head and he's put Number to sleep! This one is all over!
