Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cub Lamas (ranked 3807 p4p, 363 weight class) and Dern MacKenzie (ranked 4286 p4p, 399 weight class). Lamas comes to the cage accompanied by Dominica Music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dern MacKenzie!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacKenzie wants to clinch up but Lamas keeps it at a distance.
MacKenzie moves into the clinch successfully.
Lamas lands a body shot in the clinch.
MacKenzie turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and MacKenzie manages to end up in side control.
Lamas is looking for a sweep.
MacKenzie is trying to get an arm triangle but Lamas is defending well.
MacKenzie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lamas knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MacKenzie tries for a kimura but Lamas is defending well.
Lamas is trying to control MacKenzie's posture but MacKenzie avoids it.
Lamas is looking for a sweep.
Lamas is pushing MacKenzie's head away, looking to escape. MacKenzie manages to hold on to the position though.

Lamas takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

MacKenzie is looking to take a break and control but Lamas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
MacKenzie has an Americana. Lamas didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! MacKenzie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if MacKenzie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
