Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ilya Bryzgalov (ranked 1041 p4p, 153 weight class) and Brandon Hale (ranked 1232 p4p, 189 weight class). Hale has chosen Dead Sara - Weatherman as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Ilya Bryzgalov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 19 - 2, fighting out of London, Brandon Hale!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryzgalov wants to clinch up but Hale keeps it at a distance.
Bryzgalov tests Hale's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bryzgalov misses with an uppercut.
Bryzgalov throws a shot from downtown. Hale moves away and avoids it.
Hale throws a leg kick that misses.
A little feinted left hand from Bryzgalov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bryzgalov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bryzgalov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hale - the referee stops the clock and Bryzgalov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hale. Bryzgalov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Bryzgalov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hale can pounce on him.

and Hale counters with a nice body kick.
Hale has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bryzgalov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hale avoids the head kick by Bryzgalov.
Bryzgalov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Hale lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hale lands a nice shot that snaps Bryzgalov's head back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bryzgalov misses with a wild body shot.

Bryzgalov tries to clinch up.
Hale replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Bryzgalov blocks it well.
Bryzgalov throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hale blocks a head kick by Bryzgalov.
Bryzgalov misses with a series of wild punches.
Hale feints and then cracks Bryzgalov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bryzgalov down.
Hale scores with a spinning back kick!
Ilya Bryzgalov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bryzgalov misses with a head kick.
Bryzgalov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Hale lands a big head kick that sends Bryzgalov tumbling to the mat! Hale takes a step backwards and waves Bryzgalov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bryzgalov is rocked!

It looks like Ilya Bryzgalov has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bryzgalov walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Hale swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Brandon Hale decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
