Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Proejct Fed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Irvin.

Fed throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fed creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Irvin's defenses.
Fed throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Fed as Irvin tries to tie him up.

Irvin has Fed pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fed manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Irvin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
