The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxing scores with a jab to the body.

Hood tries to counter by clinching up but Boxing breaks away and moves out of range.
Boxing misses with a double jab.

Boxing darts in and clinches Hood up against the cage.
Hood jumps guard but Boxing turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Hood managing to block the knees to the body from Boxing.
Boxing wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hood has him pressed against the cage.
Hood really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Boxing manages to break the clinch.

Boxing changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hood looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Boxing wants the takedown. Hood is fighting it off but Boxing persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hood's guard against the cage.

Hood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Boxing has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
