Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Love-Hate Powell (ranked 3677 p4p, 429 weight class) and Bong Ki Duk (ranked 4003 p4p, 462 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ki Duk's choice of entrance music: north korea's national anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Love-Hate Powell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bong Ki Duk!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ki Duk looks to land a body kick but Powell moved away.
Ki Duk throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've been hearing reports that Powell has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Powell throws a hook but Ki Duk avoids it easily.
Sloppy strikes from Ki Duk. Those never looked like landing.

Powell is trying to trip Ki Duk. He has hold of a leg but Ki Duk is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Powell persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Powell tries to keep at a distance but Ki Duk has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ki Duk not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Powell is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ki Duk rolls with it to try and escape but Powell cranks on the arm and Ki Duk is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Love-Hate Powell was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
