Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Green Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vic Lyndon!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyndon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Knight tries for a takedown but Lyndon circles away easily
and Lyndon counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Knight misses with a takedown attempt
and Lyndon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Knight or perhaps it was just good defense by Lyndon, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Green Knight. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lyndon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Knight chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lyndon can pounce on him.

Knight shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Knight was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lyndon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lyndon is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Lyndon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lyndon takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Knight has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Knight is trying to ground and pound but Lyndon uses the momentary lack of control by Knight to regain half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've been informed that Lyndon has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Knight postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Lyndon controls Knight momentarily but Knight frees himself.

Knight thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Knight is looking to work some ground and pound but Lyndon has wrist control.
Knight trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Knight postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lyndon has momentary wrist control but Knight slips an elbow through the middle.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Green Knight dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lyndon connects with a crisp jab.
Knight fails to land the takedown.
Lyndon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Knight fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lyndon avoids it really well and circles away.
Knight takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knight dives in and grabs Lyndon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lyndon pushes down on Knight's head and hops out.

Knight doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lyndon counters with a stiff right hand.
Lyndon thuds his right hand into Knight's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lyndon with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Lyndon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knight looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That kick from Lyndon tenderised Knight's leg. Knight is trying to keep his angry face on.

Lyndon lands a big head kick that sends Knight tumbling to the mat! Lyndon takes a step backwards and waves Knight back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Knight is rocked!


It looks like Green Knight has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lyndon feints a jab and as Knight dips his head, Lyndon unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Knight right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Knight falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Lyndon smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vic Lyndon!
Vic Lyndon seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
