Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Fry (ranked 8544 p4p, 742 weight class) and Hunter Legacy (ranked 8420 p4p, 735 weight class). Hunter Legacy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tony Fry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hunter Legacy!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Legacy gets a clinch.
Fry has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Legacy after a bit of a struggle.
Fry drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Legacy gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Legacy drags the fight down to the ground.
Fry makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Legacy trying to keep a closed guard but Fry is proving a slippery customer.
Legacy has momentary wrist control but Fry slips an elbow through the middle.
Fry throws an elbow that misses. Legacy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fry's guard. Nice move by Legacy!

Fry is pulling down on Legacy's head to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fry utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fry throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Fry looking to control.
Fry looking for a sweep. Not yet Fry, not yet.

Fry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Legacy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Legacy looking to sit in guard and control but Fry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fry is looking to work some ground and pound but Legacy has wrist control.
Fry lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fry in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fry stands and throws Legacy's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Legacy is not content to let Fry control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fry scoring with punches and elbows.
Legacy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fry has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Fry scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Legacy to see if he's OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Legacy is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Fry creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Fry working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Fry connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Legacy some visible discomfort.

Legacy is rocked!
Fry scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Legacy to see if he's OK.
Legacy is still in real trouble! Can Fry finish him?
A big shot lands for Fry! That's hurt Legacy! Will he recover? Fry fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
