Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Naoise Durnin (ranked 24615 p4p, 323 weight class) and Niko Valuev (ranked 24621 p4p, 153 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Naoise Durnin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Niko Valuev!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durnin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Durnin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Valuev sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Durnin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Despite the aggression on Valuev's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Durnin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Valuev manages to avoid it.
Durnin lands with a good body shot.
Valuev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Durnin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Valuev scrambles back to his feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Durnin, as that shot connected.
Durnin looks to score with a jab to the body but Valuev is just out of range.
Durnin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Valuev unleashes a big counter combination but Durnin bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Valuev tries to move into range but Durnin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Durnin cracks Valuev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Durnin swings for the body but Valuev moves out of range.

Valuev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Durnin.

Durnin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Valuev momentarily.
Valuev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Durnin.

Valuev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Durnin steps in with a hook that catches Valuev right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Durnin follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Valuev looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Naoise Durnin!
