Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elgar Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amoo Sia Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amoo Sia Mack told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear shoots in looking for a takedown but Sia Mack manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bear 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sia Mack checks a leg kick.
Sia Mack takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Amoo Sia Mack has been cut.
Sia Mack defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bear .
Sia Mack avoids a kick to the body.
Sia Mack rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bear moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A low kick from Bear is predictable there
and Sia Mack counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sia Mack scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Elgar Bear has been cut.
Bear pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bear fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elgar Bear . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sia Mack lands a jab-cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sia Mack misses with a two punch combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sia Mack prevents a takedown attempt there.
Sia Mack misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sia Mack lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bear backwards.

Elgar Bear 's cut is getting worse.
Bear takes a shot to the head.
Sia Mack lands a hook to the side of the head.

Sia Mack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bear instigates a clinch.
Sia Mack presses Bear against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The referee calls for Sia Mack to work.

Sia Mack pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Sia Mack lands a jab to Bear 's midsection.

Sia Mack clinches with his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A body shot lands from Sia Mack.
Sia Mack scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Elgar Bear 's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Sia Mack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sia Mack closes the distance and clinches.

Bear ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bear no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sia Mack scoring with some ground and pound.
Bear controls Sia Mack momentarily but Sia Mack frees himself.
Sia Mack cracks Bear with a solid left hand.

Jeez, Elgar Bear 's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Elgar Bear 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
