Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ted Truck (ranked 5014 p4p, 456 weight class) and Dan Sudo (ranked 2508 p4p, 261 weight class). Dan Sudo has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ted Truck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dan Sudo!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sudo checks a leg kick.
Truck wants to clinch.
Sudo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Truck but Truck pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sudo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Truck finds it's way round the side to connect with Sudo's head.

Sudo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Truck is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sudo connects with a nice short shot to Truck's temple.
Sudo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Sudo is trying to control the action in half guard but Truck is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Truck wants to get back to full guard.
Truck might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sudo drops an elbow to the side of Truck's head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sudo lands a nice short elbow.

Truck is rocked!
Sudo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Oh Truck is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Truck is staying active underneath Sudo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Truck wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Truck is looking to control Sudo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Truck avoid being mounted?
Truck seems to have got his legs back now.
Truck has hold of Sudo's hands but Sudo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sudo drops an elbow to the side of Truck's head.
Sudo working over Truck with some ground and pound. Truck looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Sudo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sudo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Truck does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Truck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sudo on the ground.
Sudo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Truck with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sudo is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Truck is hurt! He's hurt bad - Sudo fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Truck from any more punishment! Congratulations to Sudo! Great finish!
