Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joel Duarte (ranked 6412 p4p, 731 weight class) and Asko Asinen (ranked 5669 p4p, 688 weight class). Duarte comes to the cage accompanied by Nate Dogg - Keep It G.A.N.G.S.T.A.. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joel Duarte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Asko Asinen!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte lands a jab.

Asinen looking to score a takedown here. Duarte is defending well but Asinen drives through and ends up in Duarte's guard.
Asinen stays in close to Duarte's body and controls the position.
Duarte utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duarte wants to stand and escape but Asinen is having none of it.
Asinen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Asinen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Asinen won't allow Duarte to get back to his feet.
Asinen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Let's hope that Asinen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Asinen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duarte is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Duarte attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Duarte sets himself, and Asinen steps forward looking for the clinch! Duarte avoids it this time.
Duarte lands with a hook. Asinen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Asinen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Asinen there as he acknowledges the shot.

Asinen is rocked!

Duarte ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Asinen's jaw. Asinen's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Duarte does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
