Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Rutherford (ranked 1811 p4p, 199 weight class) and Joao Vitor Xavier (ranked 2974 p4p, 298 weight class). Rutherford comes to the cage accompanied by Genesis - Deep in the Motherlode. Joao Vitor Xavier is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier stuns Rutherford with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Xavier misses with a hook
and Rutherford counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Xavier!
Xavier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rutherford has an Americana. Xavier didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rutherford is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rutherford hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mike Rutherford!
