The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones gets a takedown into half guard.
Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Jones is looking to clinch but Vazquez is avoiding it.
Vazquez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Jones counters with a one-two to the body.
Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vazquez was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Henry Vazquez will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vazquez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vazquez closes the distance and clinches.
Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Vazquez has double underhooks.

Vazquez is trying to hold Jones in close to prevent damage but Jones has managed to pass into half guard.
Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Vazquez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Vazquez is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Jones is looking to pass to full mount but he's left his head exposed in the process. Vazquez has locked up a guillotine and regained full guard. He's really cranking on it - this could be the end! Is it? Is it? No... YES! YES! He's tapped! I didn't think he was going to get it there for a minute but he did! Well done Vazquez! He waited for his chance and took it!
