Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Altidari Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dita Pita!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pita shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frank as he jumps to the side.
Frank drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pita sprawls and moves away.
Frank shoots in for a takedown but Pita shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Frank avoids the head kick by Pita.
Pita leaves Frank with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Altidari Frank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pita uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Frank.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pita enables Frank to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pita manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Frank lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Pita should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frank distracts Pita with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Frank keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pita's head.
Pita tries to strike from the bottom.
Frank scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Pita has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Frank can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frank works over Pita with some ground and pound from guard.


It looks like Dita Pita has been cut.
Frank cracks Pita with a solid left hand.
Frank lands a couple of elbows.
Pita wants to stand but Frank is controlling the position.
Frank stands up over Pita, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pita can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pita looks winded!
Frank loads up on a big left hand. Pita felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Frank looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Pita can't hide his disappointment, as Frank celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Altidari Frank!
