The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Makarenko.
Makarenko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hurley throws out the jab.

Hurley drops Makarenko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Makarenko looks back up at him and smiles so Hurley waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Cyril Makarenko has been cut.

Hurley lands a left and a right that send Makarenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Hurley thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hurley drops Makarenko with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hurley follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
