Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Serge Ibaka (ranked 435 p4p, 20 weight class) and Kame Sennin (ranked 1569 p4p, 78 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 36 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Serge Ibaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kame Sennin!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibaka lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Serge Ibaka has been cut.
Serge Ibaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Ibaka.

Ibaka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sennin moves away.

Sennin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Ibaka tries to throw a body punch but Sennin avoids it by throwing Ibaka back against the cage.

Ibaka pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Serge Ibaka will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ibaka, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
