Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Kalashnikov (ranked 3512 p4p, 432 weight class) and Darrel Petersen (ranked 1801 p4p, 239 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Darrel Petersen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalashnikov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Petersen sprawls well. Petersen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kalashnikov gets slowly back to his feet.

Kalashnikov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kalashnikov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
