Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eric Heronzo (ranked 3457 p4p, 174 weight class) and Trevor McDonald (ranked 3797 p4p, 187 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heronzo takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Heronzo doesn't succeed with the takedown

and McDonald holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A right hand to the body from McDonald.

McDonald presses Heronzo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
McDonald lands a right hand that snaps the head of Heronzo backwards.
Heronzo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but McDonald is defending well.
Heronzo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Heronzo is rocked!
McDonald creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Heronzo's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Heronzo drops to his knees and McDonald pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

In his post fight interview, Trevor McDonald started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
