The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Liguy checks a leg kick.
Liguy tries to land a leg kick but Loureiro saw it coming and moves away.
Loureiro is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Liguy throws a body shot but no joy.

Liguy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Liguy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Loureiro keeps working.
Liguy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Loureiro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Liguy is thwarting Loureiro's attempts to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Loureiro has his foot on Liguy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Liguy works his way back into a safe position though.

Loureiro has his feet on Liguy's thighs here. He's pushed Liguy off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Liguy screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
