Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jido Shoemaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shoemaker comes into the arena with Thunderstruck blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Evan Cole enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoemaker lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Evan Cole has been cut.
Cole looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Shoemaker missing with a left hand there. Cole was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Shoemaker rushes Cole and presses him up against the cage.
Shoemaker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Shoemaker keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cole's efforts to push away.

Shoemaker scores with an uppercut up the middle.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cole.
Shoemaker gets through Cole's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Cole wants to break the clinch but can't.

Shoemaker throws a punch but it's blocked by Cole.
Shoemaker pushes Cole against the cage. Shoemaker is working some dirty boxing. Shoemaker pushes off with a quick right hook! Cole goes down! Cole tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Shoemaker moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jido Shoemaker!
