The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Speed manages to avoid it.
Speed missing with a left hand there. Hood was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hood shoots in but no luck this time.
Speed's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hood under the eye.
Hood walks into a jab.

It looks like Lucas Hood has been cut.
Speed with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Speed throws an off balance right hand
and Hood counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Speed closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Speed swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hood goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hood swings wildly with an uppercut but Speed uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hood tries to throw a body punch but Speed avoids it by throwing Hood back against the cage.
Speed working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Speed prevents a body shot from Hood.
Hood misses with some punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Speed lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Speed scores with a nice short uppercut.

Speed's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Speed throws a head kick but Hood moves out of range.
Speed throws a quick head kick that knocks Hood silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Speed is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
