Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fransisco Garcia (ranked 24854 p4p, 786 weight class) and Ryan Griffin (ranked 8940 p4p, 737 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

and Garcia counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Griffin throws a sloppy head kick and Garcia moves out of range easily.
Garcia went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Griffin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garcia's waist but Garcia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Griffin off to one side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Griffin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Garcia sprawls well. Garcia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Griffin gets slowly back to his feet.

Griffin goes for a double leg but Garcia avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Garcia continues to drive forward.

Griffin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
