Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kormack Omega (ranked 2563 p4p, 85 weight class) and Jefferson Percival (ranked 3874 p4p, 125 weight class). Omega comes into the arena with Bring the Pain - 2Pac blaring out of the sound system. Jefferson Percival has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kormack Omega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jefferson Percival!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Percival misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Omega counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Jefferson Percival has been cut.
Percival works Omega's body with a nice hook.
Omega tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Percival defends well and Omega ends up having to push Percival into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Omega looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Percival is fending him off so far but Omega persists. Nope, Percival circles away and we're back to standing.
Omega shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Percival but Percival pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kormack Omega. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Percival throws a poor cross that misses

and Omega counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Percival!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Omega looks up at the clock and then as Percival takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Omega smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Omega connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Percival some visible discomfort.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Omega throws an elbow but Percival slips to the side and avoids it well.
Percival can't do much from the bottom here.
Omega fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Percival tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Omega wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ground and pound from Omega seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Omega misses with the ground and pound.
Percival tries to improve position but can't.
Percival can't do much from the bottom here.
Percival is not content to let Omega control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Omega scores with a couple of short elbows.

Omega will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jefferson Percival's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jefferson Percival's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kormack Omega!
Kormack Omega very nearly forgot to thank Ace of Spades Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
