Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bento Algarvio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihito Yamato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Algarvio has Yamato up against the cage in a clinch.
Algarvio has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Yamato rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Algarvio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
As Yamato tries to get set, Algarvio tries to push him back and clinch up but Yamato manages to avoid the attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Yamato scores with a counter punch that sends Algarvio to the canvas! Yamato smells blood - he's punishing Algarvio with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Algarvio has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
