The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Jake Gentry has been cut.

Obrien tries to keep at a distance but Gentry has taken the fight into the clinch.

Obrien working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Obrien postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Gentry escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Obrien gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Obrien wants to control from the top but Gentry keeps moving.

Our spies down at at Red House inform us that Gentry has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Gentry wants to sweep but no luck.
Obrien stands up over Gentry, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Obrien tries to break the clinch but Gentry is controlling the position.
Gentry drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gentry ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gentry no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Obrien looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gentry can't hide his disappointment, as Obrien celebrates the victory.
