Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Blake (ranked 231 p4p, 13 weight class) and Daniel Larusso (ranked 298 p4p, 17 weight class). Blake's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dead Man. Larusso is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Glory of love. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larusso checks the leg kick.
Larusso throws a leg kick

so Blake counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Blake is looking to pass into half guard but Larusso pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Larusso is in guard.

Blake wants to sweep but no luck.

Blake has an active guard here but Larusso has managed to pass into half guard.
Larusso stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Larusso tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Blake.

Larusso stands up from half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blake lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Daniel Larusso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Larusso slips under a jab from Blake.
Larusso lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Larusso throws a hook to the side of Blake's head but Blake sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Blake is looking to chop away at Larusso's legs.
A nice leg kick lands there from Blake.
Larusso takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Blake uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Larusso.
Blake buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Blake tries to move into range but Larusso moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Blake throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Larusso slips under a jab.
Larusso swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Blake throws a nice looking combination but Larusso bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Larusso was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Blake.
A nice side step and Larusso releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Blake takes a swing at Larusso's ribcage but misses.
Larusso tried to score with a low kick but Blake checks it.
Larusso throws a series of strikes that have Blake backpedaling.

It looks like William Blake has been cut.
Larusso gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Blake throws a right hand that misses

and Larusso counters with a head kick that drops Blake to the mat! Blake scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Blake is rocked!
Larusso connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Blake out cold! This one is over in a flash!
