PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koba Wyatt (ranked 324 p4p, 40 weight class) and Leonard Martinez (ranked 1307 p4p, 165 weight class). Wyatt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Channel Zero. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyatt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wyatt wants it to stay on the feet.
Martinez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wyatt's waist but Wyatt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martinez off to one side.
Martinez throws a body kick that misses.

and Wyatt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Leonard Martinez has been cut.
Martinez lands a head kick!
Wyatt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Martinez circles away quickly and effectively.
Martinez throws a head kick but Wyatt moves out of range.
Wyatt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Martinez.
Koba Wyatt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonard Martinez.
Martinez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wyatt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Martinez.
Martinez just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromWyatt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wyatt throws out a loose jab but Martinez uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Wyatt counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Wyatt flashes Martinez a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Martinez's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Martinez crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Wyatt punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Koba Wyatt rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
