Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Oscar Furlan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zuluh Luluh!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furlan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Luluh, pushing him back against the cage.
Luluh has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Furlan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Furlan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Luluh gets his way!
We've been hearing good reports from Furlan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Luluh is persistently looking for the submission but Furlan is defending it well.
Luluh is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Furlan is defending well though. Luluh let's go of the attempt for now.

Luluh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Furlan cracks Luluh with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Furlan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Luluh is looking to improve his position but Furlan isn't that keen on the idea.
Furlan lands a nice shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Furlan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Luluh is looking to pass into half guard but Furlan pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Furlan is in guard.
Luluh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Furlan is one step ahead there.
Luluh looking for a guillotine here but Furlan defends easily.
Luluh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Furlan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Luluh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Furlan chips away with some ground and pound.
Furlan wants to control from the top but Luluh keeps moving.
Luluh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Luluh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Furlan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Furlan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Furlan drops back looking for a leg! Luluh is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Luluh manages to kick Furlan off! Furlan jumps back into Luluh's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Zuluh Luluh will probably get the nod.
That's time! Furlan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Furlan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Luluh has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Furlan is trying to keep an underhook but Luluh manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Furlan is looking for a sweep. Luluh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Luluh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Furlan defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Furlan is looking to improve his position.

Luluh is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Luluh is keen to just control but Furlan is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Luluh is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Furlan has managed to free his arm - good work.

Furlan desperately trying to maintain half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Oscar Furlan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Furlan wants to clinch up but Luluh keeps it at a distance.
Furlan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Luluh looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Luluh is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Furlan pulls his head out easily.
Luluh has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Furlan. Oh but Luluh has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Furlan goes limp - he's gone! Luluh jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
