Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Jones!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Frame is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!

Frame is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Jones controls from within his opponent's guard.

Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Frame knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Frame throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Frame pinned against the cage. Frame gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Frame avoids it really well and circles away.

Frame throws a solid leg kick but Jones takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Frame.

Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frame walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jones tries to clinch there but Frame circles away.
Jones throws a low kick, looking for Frame's leg but Frame calmly moves out of range.
Frame was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Frame goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The fighters circling - Frame throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Andrew Frame is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Frame keeps the fight on the outside.
Frame connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
Frame scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Frame works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jones has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Frame throws a body shot but no joy.

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch.
Jones lands a right hand that snaps the head of Frame backwards.

Frame is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks.

Jones jumps guard but Frame stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jones is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jones blocks an uppercut.
Jones tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Frame's elbow.
Jones swings wildly with an uppercut but Frame uses good head movement to avoid it.
